What is Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a neuroscience practice that cultivates presence & focus despite distractions. It is the capacity to open up to having awareness of thoughts, sensations & emotions without interpretation or judgement. It is the only technique with the power of rewiring our brain and reprogramming our minds.
Focus vs. Distraction
In our lightning-fast instant gratification culture, it’s easy to get distracted.
Mindfulness teaches us to hold our focus so it comes more naturally to us when we need it.

Leveraging her mental health, business development and leadership experiences, she founded Mindful Consultants, a firm that specializes in personal and professional development through the practice of mindfulness services based on cognitive & positive psychology, and the latest cutting-edge discoveries in neuroscience.

She is an international presenter, transformational coach and creator of the trademarked “4 Step Brain H.A.C.K.“ framework focused on helping individuals reprogram their mind and rewire their brains to achieve high performance, resilience, a fearless attitude and razor-sharp mind. A leading voice in the mindfulness community, she is a frequent commentator in Spanish and English language media outlets and trainer for a wide array of corporate, healthcare, legal and education clients.

She started her career experiences at Newark Beth Israel Hospital -Therapeutic Learning Center working with children and adolescents with a variety of behavioral difficulties such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), aggression, depression, and impulse control. Prior to founding her own company, Clarisa was a seasoned community advocate and political operative for almost two decades. She was a government affairs and strategic communications professional for a major public relations and lobbying firm. She also consulted for the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of NJ. Clarisa held high-level appointments spanning several gubernatorial administrations.
